MOVE IMPACT LAB

A dance production and a dance exchange project in Germany and Greece for young dancers from marginalized contexts in Germany, Greece and Romania.

Move Impact Lab comprises a dance exchange program and a dance production for young dancers from Greece, Germany, and Romania.

The project focuses on sustainable development and environmental protection. The aim is to promote young dancers professionally and artistically and to familiarize them with socially relevant topics. The project strengthens international cultural dialog through the exchange of different dance styles and enables an artistic examination of environmental protection.

The participants work together with a team of four (co-)choreographers from four countries to create a dance piece and develop mediation formats that they perform with children and young people.

The performances “H2flow” take place at the tak Theater Aufbau Kreuzberg in Berlin. The focus is on topics relating to water, such as water shortages, flooding, drinking water scarcity and migration. Knowledge and artistic practice will be imparted through workshops, coaching and artistic methods. In addition to the stage performances, the project will be documented by a video production and learning material to enable sustainable use.
